Posh Sardines on Toast

Quick and easy supper. Recipe created specially for Seafood Week 2016 by Fish is the Dish.

Serves 4

  • 1 tin sardines in oil or brine
  • 1 clove garlic
  • 1 dsp olive oil
  • 1 small chilli (red or green)
  • Fresh herbs (eg parsley) - handful
  • Juice of a lemon
  • Sourdough toast - two slices
  • Salt and pepper
