In 1985 Graham Whittle founded Whitby Seafoods, in the historic seaside town of Whitby. Famous for fish & chips, and its abbey, which is believed to be the inspiration for Bram Stoker’s Dracula, Whitby is the ideal home for a family seafoods business.
With the help of his daughter Laura and sons Edward and Daniel, Graham has built the business into one of the largest scampi companies in the UK, whilst still maintaining the ethos of 100% British Scampi, caught by British fishermen around the British Isles. They now have a range of other delicious seafood products including cod goujons, calamari and king prawns.
Whitby Seafoods Scampi is made from 100% British langoustine and is a good source of vitamin A, which is great for good eyesight and great skin. Delicious served in sandwiches, wraps, salads or simply with chips, families can have a tasty meal ready in 20 minutes. Check out the recipe for Scampi Sliders with Pink Slaw on our website HERE.
