In this week’s Stray Extra Food & Drink show, Jonathan and Alex talk through the provenance and delight of a seafood platter.
Popular Ramus platters include Neptune’s Feast which boasts hot smoked salmon, large king prawns and oysters, The Emporium, The Treasure Chest and the Poseidon Adventure which can be made for up to 20 people.
The shellfish on the platters is top quality with the luxury peeled prawns coming from cold Icelandic waters, making them extra juicy. The lobsters are cooked and dressed fresh to order and the big brown crabs come from the warmer waters of Cornwall giving them extra large juicy claws.
Delicious with a squeeze of lemon, and a drizzle of Marie Rose sauce or mayonnaise. these platters are perfect served with new potatoes, salad or French bread and a glass of chilled Sauvignon Blanc.
