Take a closer look at our new season Sea Trout. Sea trout, also known as sewin in Wales, is highly prized for its firm, pink flesh and delicate flavour. It is similar in texture and flavour to wild salmon, but lower in fat and higher in Omega 3.
So it really feels like summer is here and with the warm weather comes some great seafood. Now is the time for both wild salmon and sea trout, flavours that epitomise late spring and early summer. Team them up with in season asparagus or samphire for a great flavour.

While the current horsemeat scandal has no direct impact on the seafood industry I wouldn’t be surprised to see some of the same corrupt and illegal practices taking place in the production of ever cheaper “fish” meals.
